Filming
in the pass few week i was able to film 3-4 scene which were film in the mall and the cafe and he male protagonist house
technical problem
basically camera i use (canon 80D) just shutdown in the middle of the shoot. i have to wait for approximately 15-30 minute for it to work again. in the end I get shot i most but i need to come and reshoot again someday.later I send my 80D to maintenance but still when i try it out it still shutdown so i sold the 80D and brought a new 80D which i use in the rest of the shoot. The new one work well.
Editing
when i start editing i realize one of the code and convention of k pop music video that the set have to be big, beautiful and amazing.my set is good but can't be compare with the expensive set that tipical k pop music video have. so to compensate that i set a goal to create a interesting effects such as whip pan and split screen to distract the viewer from looking for a amazing set to look at the amazing effects instate.
dreamy look
one of the code and convention is the music video having a dreamy look. to create that i create a color matte filter in premier which increase the opacity of the video by 42%. This cause the video to look very dreamy and white. in some scene i also increase the brightness of the shot to make it suit the other shots.
the whip pan effect
One of CaseyNeistat video which release in 13 march 2017 use alot of whip pan which inspire me to create a scene with a whip pan
i pick one of the rap part because it's the fastest part in this song which suits the fast effect of whip pan.
another reason is that the rapper can't remember the lyric correctly so in the filming day i change something which end up look very good.
the whip pan shot
Split screen
split screen were use for the viewer to see the action of both protagonist in the same time. in my music video I have around 2 split screen shot.
to create a split screen first the story of both protagonist have to happen in the same time. for example when both protagonist alarm clock ring it have to ring at the same time.when the timing was right i place the shot into the same time and change the motion of the shots.
