folk pop code and convention

1. Focus on nature and environment

    the shot is particularly simple.there's a general lack of manufactured imagery to avoid contrasting       in the video so everything is usually natural with focus on environment




















2.Emotional
   with folk feeling mix in this genera so this genera are often deep  and emotional. Characters have to be relatable, so that audience can connect to the character, and really be absorbed by the story.

3.Narrative focused
   usually lyrics of folk music are rather deep and emotional ,and the music video  needs to reflex that.telling a story through both audio and visuals is essential,and what makes folk unique.No flashy images or special effect, but a solid story.

4.The artist
    Standard music video should feature the artist in some capacity. Viewer need to see where the vocals/instrumentals are originating from,and it allows for a certain depth of artist promotion.

5.Capture theme of the song
   music video should capture the general theme of the song.Adapting the narrative from the story told in the lyrics is the best option. as it can be manipulated from the video.

    I pick let her go by passenger as my song of choice because i love the idea and tough behind the music and I pick not love spring or cherry blossom because I like idea of cuteness in the music video.plus the code and convention is new for me so it's challenging which is what i like.

Still 1:we don't talk anymore-Charlie Puth
This still shows how different both protagonist are.we can see that the split screen show us a very different lifestyle,one as a pop star and a normal girl.even thought the try to communicate they can't because they aren't brave enough to do so.it also show that this couple can't be together anymore.

Still 2:counting star-One Republic

This senior is very important in this music video. From the beginning until the end he is the one who motivate others to be happy and dance along with the beat. This stills shows who enthusiastic he is combine with the fact that the way he stand in the middle make he become more important to this music video.

In this music video the male protagonist have to make a pre-wedding video for his ex-girlfriends. Even though his ex-girlfriend didn't love him anymore but the male protagonist still have a feeling for his ex-girlfriend.This stills show the 
scene of the male protagonist in this music video.this scene shows how sad and regret he is  because when he and his ex are together he is not ready to develop the relationship yet which end their relationship.


Still 4:เจ็บ...เเละชินไปเอง-ETC BAND
This still is taken from the last shot of the music video which define the ending.What we see is the result of the main protagonist throw a picture of him and his ex-girlfriend to the clock.This shot is shoot with a slow-motion camera we can see the glass of the clock break which i see give us 2 meaning.the breaking glass can be define as the relationship of the protagonist is over,and the photo that hit the clock to the point that it break can be said that even time can't heal the pain.

This stills represent a good memories that the male protagonist use to have with is ex-girlfriend.The fading effect make the stills look more like it's a good fading memories.the way that the male protagonist looking down to his ex-girlfriend suggest that he cares her so much.The rule of third also make the shots look more interesting.

what happen is the protagonist love her father so much so when he pass away it make he feel very sad and angry taht why he have to leave her.in the final minute this shots show up which is the daughter lay down the photos to her father grave which suggest that she forgive him foe leaving her.
